Who you are… CCAB qualified, or working towards, you will be able to support budget holders to understand their responsibilities, explaining complex information to a wide range of people in a coherent and user friendly way. Working collaboratively, you will be proactive and solution focused in your approach to problem solving, thinking through issues logically to ensure the answer works helps achieve the outcomes of our medium term financial plan. Motivated and flexible in your approach, you will play a key role in driving the service forward.
What we need from you… In depth knowledge of accounting and financial management regulations and practice, combined with previous experience in a similar public service environment, will help you to juggle your workload and meet deadlines. Partnering a particular area of the organisation, you will be able to build good relationships, providing support and advice across the core financial cycle of budget setting budget monitoring and closing of the accounts. Able to manage people effectively, you will ensure the wider finance team provide seamless support to our customers.
