Salary Details: Grade 5 (£17,007-£17,394) - Grade 6 (£17,790 - £18,849) pro rata depending on experience
 
St Mary’s C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly organised and enthusiastic Administrative Officer to work within our busy school office to provide an efficient and courteous reception service, as well as ensuring the provision of a confidential and flexible administrative support to the School and Governing Body. The ideal candidate should have a friendly welcoming manner, as well as accuracy and attention to detail, along with the ability to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team. Previous school experience would be desirable but not essential.
 
You will be educated to a high standard in Maths and English with an excellent standard of grammar, punctuation and spelling. You will also be experienced in the use of ICT applications relevant to the post i.e. Email, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Publisher.
 
We are looking for a person who will be:
  • Able to produce a fortnightly newsletter.
  • Provide support for our Governing Body which will include minute taking at sub-committee meetings held during the day.
  • Responsible for the administrative arrangements in connection with all pupil assessments and associated data.
  • Support with organisation and management of school policies and their review.
  • A great team player with excellent personal skills but also have the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Forward thinking and able to generate ideas
  • Able to cope with new challenges
  • Be able to communication with parents on a professional basis.
