LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT – with some lunchtime support
 
30 hpw – Mon - Fri (8.45am–11.45 & 12.45 – 3.15pm in class, plus 12.15 – 12.45 lunchtime support)  
Grade 5 Point 9-11 depending on qualifications and/or experience
£ 11,858 - £12,123 per anum
Term Time Only – Fixed Term 1 Year
Start Date : As soon as possible
 
Barlestone C of E Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable LSA to join our friendly hardworking school; to support teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom setting under the direction of the class teacher. Some hours will also be spent providing supervision to KS1 pupils over lunchtime.
 
You will need to be :
  • a good team player, and possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills
  • able to work in small groups
  • possess a calm and caring and inclusive approach to your role
  • resilient, patient and open to challenges
  • committed to the development and raising standards of our pupils

Previous experience of working in schools will be an advantage.
