A varied and interesting vacancy has arisen in Nottingham City Council’s Community Protection Department.
 
This role requires working closely with the public, helping children to cross safely at the zebra crossing.
 
There are two positions available, working on Haydn Road, Sherwood outside Haydn Road School, or Green Lane, Clifton outside Glapton Academy. Please state which position you are interested in on the application form.
 
You will be expected to maintain good relations at all times, particularly with children, parents, road users and the general public. You will also be expected to build a good relationship with the school.
 
This post is during term time - 38 weeks per year term time only.
• Pay grade: starting at hourly rate - £8.45 per hour
• Hours of work: 30mins in the morning from 08:15 to 08:45 and 30 mins in the afternoon 15:15 to 15:45, Monday to Friday, working the same terms as the school
• The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check and a medical
 
We are looking for someone to start in September in this role and full training will be given. A uniform would also be provided.   The successful applicant would also be entitled to all employee benefits that Nottingham City Council colleagues are entitled to.
