The Governing Body of Whitwick St. John the Baptist CE Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and effective leader to continue to build on our good Ofsted rating when our current headteacher retires this summer.
Whitwick St John the Baptist CE Primary School is in North West Leicestershire on the edge of Charnwood and within the National Forest. The school was built in the 1950s and was extended in 1991.
We serve a diverse catchment area with children from both private and social housing. There are currently 345 children on roll. The school offers wrap around care, providing a breakfast and after school club and has a pre-school which offers 24 places for children aged 3+.
We are proud of the collaborative work we do with local schools and Forest Way Teaching School Alliance.
