We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to be based within the Trust central team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of financial services to Overdale Junior School, ensuring that all financial procedures are carried out accurately, effectively and efficiently and in accordance with Trust policies, regulatory frameworks and agreed procedures.
 

The role will also involve undertaking activities to assist with the management of the finances and financial systems across the Trust.

 
The ideal candidate will have:
 

•    An eye for detail, be proactive, conscientious and an attentive team member

•    Knowledge in school finance and compliance

•    A strong, relevant background in finance and be able to demonstrate experience in financial management, monitoring and delivery as well as the production of monthly management accounts, demonstrating Value for Money through the principles of economic, efficient and effective use of resource

•    Highly developed IT skills and meticulous attention to detail

•    Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

•    Strong and clear communication skills and experience of working in a busy environment
