11.25 hours per week (2¼ hours per day) term time plus 4 weeks per annum to be worked in the school holidays

Grade 2 £18,342 pro rata
Actual salary: £5,115 per annum
Working hours Monday to Friday: 4.45 p.m. until 7.00 p.m.
The Trustees of the Apollo Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint a cleaner at Broom Leys Primary School, as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will join our established team who ensure the cleanliness of the school buildings, enabling the pupils to have a comfortable, clean, safe and well maintained environment in which to work or otherwise use the school facilities.  Cleaners work under the direction of the Site Manager & Assistant Premises Officer. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Annual leave year for all school-based support staff runs from 1 September to 31 August inclusive. If a member of the support staff commences employment part way through a leave year their annual leave entitlement will be calculated from their first day of employment up to and including the 31 August (the end of the leave year).
These days are for staff who are employed full time and all year round. For staff who are on less than full time hours a calculation has been agreed with the trade unions. This calculation is used to pro-rata salaries in order to properly proportion holiday entitlement to weeks worked. The annual leave allowance is then paid proportionally throughout the year in the employee’s salary.
The salary for the post is calculated across the year and is paid in twelve equal payments, on the last working day of the month.
