The starting salary is £30,095 (Level One) rising to £31,895 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to the satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part-time workers).

Do you have domestic energy efficiency experience in the industry, and are looking to develop?

We’ve got an exciting opportunity available for talented individuals to join our Greener Housing Grants team. We are ideally looking for individuals who have experience with EPCs, Retrofit Assessments and home energy efficiency experience who are keen to develop and add to their existing skills and move toward contract management.

The Senior Energy Projects Coordinator will play an important role in the delivery of Grant funded home energy improvements. The current delivery phase includes 657 domestic solar PV installations across the city which is funded through the Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery, And initial work is already underway on the Sustainable warmth competition Grant which will be more focused on insulation measures. As well as Solar PV & Air source heat pumps.


  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and able to motivate other staff
  • Have experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders from residents, suppliers contractors, and internal colleagues
  • The ability to visit sites and record details of installed measures
  • Experience in the application of Project Management practical techniques to enable monitoring and control of individual programs and projects.
  • Energy/environmental degree or equivalent experience. Retrofit Co-ordinator qualification advantageous.
  • Experience of facilitating requirements of stakeholders and partners, to efficiently deliver a range of projects.
  • Experience of working in an energy function and engaging with other service areas such as finance, property, maintenance.
