The starting salary is £22,571 (Level One) rising to £23,953(Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

THE ROLE:
 
The role of the Fleet Compliance and Data Officer is based within the Fleet Services team which is the Council's in-house transport service. The service is responsible for a wide range of transport related services including fleet maintenance, fleet compliance, driver training, accident management, fuel management and road tax management.
 
The Fleet services team are responsible for the Council fleet of 475 vehicles, ensuring compliance is maintained through vehicle inspections and scheduled maintenance tasks. Other fleet compliance functions are carried out to protect the Council's vehicle Operators licence and risk and this is achieved by managing drivers in relation to driving licence checking, drivers hous, driver behaviour by maintaining fleet management systems including vehicle telematics.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
 
  • Experience of monitoring quality, performance and compliance in relation to vehicle Operators licences including compilation of reports
  • Experience of monitoring of fleet compliance procedure and policy
  • Full driving licence
