The starting salary is £34,373 (Level One) rising to £36,371 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.

The role of Head of Digital at Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall’s (TRCH), Nottingham is to lead and manage the Digital team and the TRCH digital platforms, website, and social media channels to strive for maximum reach and accessibility at a digital brand level.

The role involves managing the weekly workflow within the Digital team, including regularly reviewing and addressing the effectiveness and performance of the company’s website, overseeing TRCH’s social media content plan, and managing the online sales announcement process across website, email and social media.

TRCH is a unique performing arts complex consisting of the 1,107 seat Theatre Royal and the 2,257 seat Royal Concert Hall, at the heart of Nottingham’s cultural offer, each year we present over 600 events across the two venues.

This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious digital arts marketing professional to have a significant impact and ensure our continued position as one of the UK’s busiest and most successful performing arts venues.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • An enthusiasm for digital marketing and a deep knowledge of a range of digital communications tools

  • Outstanding project and budget management experience.

  • Project managing, developing and understanding website(s) structures, hostings, databases, CSS and HTML etc.

  • The ability to lead a team to plan, implement and deliver a fluctuating weekly workload across the team.

  • A broad knowledge of emerging and established social media channels.
