The starting salary is £26,446 (Level One) rising to £28,226 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

We are a multi-skilled team led by a Senior Operations Manager. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to manage the day to day performance of a public realm team, effectively planning work in a cost-effective way, assigning work to crews and keeping accurate records of work completed.
  • Ability to oversee other Public Realm services, especially out of hours services.
  • Ability to deliver a city-wide responsive, City Centre focussed street cleansing and grounds maintenance service.
  • Ability to liaise with Partners and Stakeholders to take ownership of any issues and to resolve them swiftly and effectively.
  • Must be able to work a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern starting at 03:30 and finishing at 14:30.
  • Must hold a clean, valid UK driving licence
 

Additional Information for Applicants:

The successful candidate will be required to work an 11-hour shift on 4 days on 4 days off rota that starts between 03:00 – 03:30 and finishes between 14:00-14:30.
