The starting salary is £49,702 (level 1) rising to £51,733 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

This is an exiciting opportunity to join our growing public health team and support our aims to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities in Nottingham. The role will provide strategic, technical and management leadership to the developing public health intelligence function, ensuring public health intelligence is delivered to a high quality and has maximum positive impact on the work of the public health team, wider council and partners. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Expert ability to analyse, interpret and present complex qualitative and quantitative data as part of health needs assessments and a variety of other public health intelligence products
  • High level of understanding of specialist analytic, statistical, data management and platform software including Power BI.
  • Abilitity to work in partnership at a senior and strategic level, and across different organisational cultures.
  • Experience of leading a team with a willingness to share informatio and be flexible in response to changing demands.
