This is a Politically Restricted vacancy
As part of the Civic and Member Support section in the Chief Executive’s Department, the post holder will have a pivotal role with the delivery of an effective and efficient service to the following:
• Chief Executive
• Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire and his Deputy Lieutenants
• Leader of Leicestershire County Council
• Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the County Council.
• All Elected Members of Leicestershire County Council
The post holder is also expected to contribute to overall work of the section and the Department as well as leading, overseeing and contributing to a number of business activities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- NVQ Level 4 Business Administration or equivalent administrative or secretarial qualification or equivalent level of demonstrable and relevant experience of working in an administrative field.
- Experience of providing a range of administrative support to managers.
