Location:Oakfield Short Stay Primary School, Belle Vue Road, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, LE9 7PA 


Closing date:30 June 2022 at midnight 

To provide:
  • To contribute to the teaching and learning at the Oakfield Short Stay School and lead small group activities and 1:1 support as directed by the class teacher
  • To deliver both educational and therapeutic activities to individuals, or groups under the guidance of a teacher enabling pupils using the school to make progress.
  • To play a lead role in the support of children on re-integration and undertake short term placements in the absence of SEMH Graduated Practitioners in supporting reintegration of pupils or providing support in mainstream settings and specialist units
  • To promote inclusion
We are looking for:
  • An effective Teaching Assistant who has a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum

The successful candidate will need to possess NVQ level 3 or above and GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and ASD is desirable.
