Loughborough C of E Primary School runs its own After School Club for pupils. We wish to appoint two Assistants to help run the Club. As our 'LCEPS+' After School Club Assistant, you will assist the After-School Club Co-ordinator with the day to day running of the Club. You will encourage the children to play in a safe, productive way.
Your role will include:
• helping to plan suitable indoor and outdoor activities for the children
• supervising and helping children to play safely and creatively
• distributing food and drinks and cleaning up afterwards
• ensuring the Club resources are kept tidy and organised
• monitoring and dealing with any behaviour issues in line with school policies
• following all school policies and procedures particularly in relation to safeguarding,
behaviour and health & safety
• undertaking any training & development required relevant to the role
The salary range for the role is:
Grade 4 £18,891 - £19,080 pro-rata
• The actual salary for post 1: £3180 - £3284 per year
• The actual salary for post 2: £4240 - £4379 per year
Hours of work will be:
Post 1: Monday - Friday 15:00 - 16:30 term time only (7.5 hours p/week)
Post 2: Monday - Friday 15:00 - 17:00 term time only (10 hours p/week)
The roles are fixed term initially up to August 2023 with the possibility of continuing after this date. Start date is Tuesday 30th August 2022.
