Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
(Term Time + 1 week during school holidays for cleaning and preparation)
We are looking to appoint a School Food Supervisor. This is a permanent position – to start on 24th August 2022 or earlier by negotiation.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy environment and be passionate about food with innovative new ideas for promoting healthy choices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Ensuring a high quality meal service
• Leading and motivating catering staff
• Planning menus to ensure a nutritious meal is served
• Managing the catering budget ensuring value for money is achieved
• Maintaining the kitchen to a high standard ensuring compliance with health and safety and food regulations
• Ordering goods and maintaining stock control
• Preparing and cooking food for the daily service to pupils and staff
