In this exciting role you will develop and grow ESPO’s Trading business’ customers, market channels and commercial brands, alongside ESPO’s wide range of framework solutions. On a national basis, you will be expected to create, maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential new key customers and markets. You will also identify potential new suppliers, brand partners and other stakeholders to meet overall targets and objectives within the ESPO and ETL sales channels.


You will be in charge of managing, developing and growing existing and new business in line with ESPO’s Business Strategies, marketing plans and overall organisational objectives and targets, including the Long-Term Financial Strategy [LTFS]. You will manage and direct detailed business proposals and account plans to establish and document customer needs and maximise opportunities to ensure targets are achieved.  You will develop customer engagement plans and strategies and report on progress and outcomes. You will present and develop strategic initiatives to drive ETL growth, new business plans and deliver key outcomes in line with the Commercial Plan.

You will require:-

    • A degree in a relevant area or substantial experience in the areas below
    • Proven sales management and/or account management, including relationship building/management
    • Experience in customer relationship management techniques
    • Strong commercial focus
    • Managing a team to deliver results based on clear objectives
