The Midlands Net Zero Hub, funded by BEIS, is part of Nottingham's award winning Carbon Reduction Energy and Sustainability Division. This fixed term position of one year (12 months) has a starting salary of £34,373 (Level One) rising to £36,371 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).
  
The role
The post holder will be required to lead engagement with local authorities and the relevant private sector supply chains across the Midlands, to support delivery of large-scale retrofit programmes across the Midlands. Support a robust Midlands wide pipeline of fundable projects / programmes of works and the appropriate procurement and delivery mechanisms that are in place. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with stakeholders who have experience and knowledge in this sector and will need to collate success and lessons learned from previous schemes, which will help ensure future funding is delivered effectively. For further details on our existing schemes please visit: midlandsnetzerohub.co.uk
  
You will be expected to:
- Innovate using lessons learnt from existing Local Authority led schemes that support low income households
- Lead on the co-ordination of regional Local Authority Delivery and Home Upgrade Grant
- Support the development of a pipeline of prospective projects that could be supported by an appropriate funding mechanism
- Support the implementation of a procurement strategy to procure PAS 2035/Trustmark supplier(s) to assist project delivery
- Provide project management across a range of projects, reviewing performance and report into the Fuel Poverty Project Manager
