The starting salary is £20,043 (Level One) rising to £20,852 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.

Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience in providing professional, proactive and efficient administrative support? If so, you are just the person to join the EEMonitor team, part of Carbon Reduction, Energy & Sustainability within Nottingham City Council. You will support a growing service area, providing a range of administrative support including but not limited to responding to a range of enquiries from customers, administering site visits and responsibility for financial duties such as raising invoices and purchase orders. Support will also be required with billing, reports and data analysis. Previous experience within the energy industry is desirable but not essential. If you enjoy a fast-paced working environment where no day is the same then this is the opportunity for you! 
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Demonstrates a commitment to a quality, customer-focused service.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels utilising a variety of methods including telephone, email and face to face
• Organised and reliable, able to use initiative to prioritise and plan own workload to meet deadlines, and flexible in order to respond to changing priorities.
• Excellent ICT skills, including use of Microsoft Office Word and Outlook, and experience of using these packages to produce a range of work to a high standard.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and attention to detail. Able to multi-task.
• Experience of financial systems and procedures, and using ordering and invoicing processes to administer procurement and trading
Desirable:
• Energy Industry Experience
• Experience in Utility billing
