The Learning for Wellbeing curriculum which provides arts and leisure courses for the Leicestershire Adult Learning Service (LALS), is looking for experienced and dedicated sessional Adult Learning Tutors in the following subject areas: Sewing (dressmaking and/or fashion design); Drawing and Painting general; Botanical Drawing and Painting and Fused Glass. LALS offers courses across Leicestershire and candidates will need to be flexible in terms of where in the county they are able to teach.
The successful candidate will develop, plan and deliver their course, developing a Scheme of Work, writing lesson plans and negotiating individual learning plans with learners. Candidates should have recent experience of teaching/working with adults from a range of backgrounds. Courses are typically 2 hours a week over 10 - 12 weeks, one course per term, daytime or evenings.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Level 3 generic teaching qualification (or be working towards)
A qualification in subject specialist equivalent to L3
Ability to use IT for admin and to embed in teaching
