The starting salary is £19,264 (Level One) rising to £19,650 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

Building Services and Facilities Management are seeking to recruit to the position of a Mailroom Assistant to work within a small team based at Loxley House where you will be responsible for the processing of all incoming and outgoing mail, and redistribution.  You will log and record deliveries  and special/recorded mail and contact recipients for collection, and maintain records for various teams for recharging/recording purposes.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Ability to accurately handle, sort and distribute incoming mail throughout the building and process and dispatch outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Ability to use office equipment to include Franking Machines, Photocopiers, scanners and telephones.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to use computers for inputting, recording and retrieving information and sending and monitoring emails.
  • High Levels of confidentiality
