Business Support Officers Level 3 - The starting salary is £20,043 (level 1) rising to £20,852 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time).

Nottingham City Council is looking to recruit Business Support Officers to support the Children’s Social Care Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to make a difference working with a team of professionals to keep children and families safe and supported.  The Business Support Officer Level 3 is responsible for maintaining effective and secure administrative systems in the office, taking phone calls from parents, carers and partner agencies such as health and schools and ensuring that accurate information is passed to social workers in a timely way.  Processing financial transactions including purchase card, invoices, cash, booking interpreters, travel and accommodation. Producing minutes of multi-agency meetings to a highly professional standard.  Keeping case records accurate and up to date. Building strong relationships with social work colleagues. Working with health partners to ensure that health assessments for Children in Care are planned and take place within statutory timescales. Meeting safeguarding, GDPR and financial requirements. Supporting social workers with requests for administrative support. 
  
BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER LEVEL 3 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to plan and organise own workload flexibly.

Committment to a quality customer focused service.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Extensive experience of using the MS office suite.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels face to face, on the telephone and by email.
Support and take accurate minutes of meetings.
