Job Title: Food Technology Teacher & Second in Design (TLR 2b)
Grade:  Teachers Pay Scale plus TLR 2b (£4,786 per annum)   
Responsible to: Subject Leader, Design & Technology       
 
Job Purpose:   
  
To make a positive contribution, in the professional role of teacher, to our college’s vision, our strategic plans, our annual priorities, and our departmental plans.
  
Duties and responsibilities specific to the post:
  
 - Line management, coaching, mentoring and development of staff within the department
 - Contribute to the strategic direction of the college through active participation in relevant meetings
 - Assist the subject leader in monitoring and evaluating the work of the department, in agreed with college practice
 - Assist the subject leader in the development and implementation of polocies and practices within the department, which reflect the colleges commitment to excellence.
