The starting salary is £19,264 (Level One) rising to £19,650 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

Harvey Hadden Sports Village is Nottingham City Council's flagship Iconic Facility offering a wide range of facilities, we work with a number of National Sporting Governing Bodies as well as local partnerships and the community whilst also hosting a range of Local, Regional and National events. As a Lifeguard you will have a passion for delivering first class customer experience whilst also ensuring the safety of visitors. We are looking for an individual that has a passion for delivering a first class service to all visitors with a can do attitude and willing to go the extra mile for visitors. Someone who can be calm under pressure, has great customer service skills, is highly responsible and natural with people from all walks of life. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors to the pool and other activities they take part in whilst making sure they have the best possible experience in terms of enjoyment, safety and hygiene. A holder of a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and good knowledge of pool safety we will provide ongoing professional training to ensure you stay on top of your profession. We also offer a unique in house development Supervisor Scheme which is open to the whole team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Hold a current and up to date National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • Commitment to providing high standards of customer service
  • Maintain a safe pool environment through excellent Lifeguarding practices
  • Carry out regular cleaning and equipment maintenance checks
