Mental Health Integrated Neighbourhood Team

As part of the Community Mental Health Transformation in Leicester, Leiecestershire and Rutland, the Mental Health Design Group has approved the development of the 3 Conversation Approach in the emerging Mental Health Neighbourhood Teams.

The 3 Conversation Approach is an evidence and strength based approach developed by Partners4Change which focuses on coming alongside people to identify what a good life means and the connections that can be made to best enable this to happen. The Approach moves away from eligibility and formal assessments to relational based conversations which are led and shaped by the person.

The 3 Conversation Approach will focus initially on people who are stepping down from secondary mental health services and people where engagement with secondary mental health services has not been successful.

Funding has been secured for the Team from the NHS for three years and it is hoped that if successful then it will become part of baseline mental health funding.

The Team will be based across Leciester City, Leicestershire and Rutland. Leicestershire County Council will host and employ the Team and line management will sit with the Strategic Service Manager for Melton and the Head of Service for Mental Health, DOLS and Safeguarding.

At the outset we are looking to employ 4 Community Reablement Workers at Grade 8 (£22,575 to £24,924)

Applications close on the 14th July and we will be looking to carry out interviews over Teams on the week beginning the 18th July

If you would like to discuss the roles prior to making an application then please contact Stephen Pratt on 0116 3053048 or email stephen.pratt2@leics.gov.uk
