Marketing Officer
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary Range: £28,704 - £32,241
Grade: 10
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced marketing professional to join our friendly team. As a key member of the Marketing and Sales team you will help to shape and implement marketing campaigns that effectively supports ESPO’s business plan, targets and objectives. You will provide key support to the Marketing Campaigns and Brand Manager, helping to deliver ESPO’s marketing activities to our wide-ranging customer base including local authorities and other public sector bodies.
You will be a creative and skilled individual with a talent for content creation and and the ability to work across a varied portfolio of goods and services. Working closely with our Procurement teams, you will have an eye for a story, a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to translate complex information into simple compelling messages. You will have experience of planning a range of marketing activities including traditional, online, PR and events and be a confident communicator, with a hands-on approach to executing your plans on time and to budget.
While experience in public sector and procurement is a plus, we are looking for someone with the right skill set and attitude. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A recognised marketing qualification such as a CIM diploma or equivalent;
- Experience of planning and executing marketing activities;
- A flair for creating content for external audiences;
- A can-do approach to working, inspiring others with your enthusiasm and drive for success.
