The starting salary is £30,095 (level 1) rising to £31,895 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

The Education Welfare and EOTAS Service are looking to recruit an outstanding Senior Education Welfare Officer.  Daily activities will include working alongside Legal Intervention Officers in order to support the Service in the implentation of all education related interventions and statutory provisions, in relation to attendance.  This could include creating Single Justice Packs. The successful applicant will be expected to process child entertainment, work permits and chaperone licences and be able to ensure the appropriate adminstrations are undertaken to prepare for PACE interviews.
    
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive working knowledge of law relating to education law, child employment and entertainment law.

Extensive working knowledge and experience of education welfare services, alternative provision and EOTAS Services including Elective Home Education and Children Missing From Education.
Knowledge and understanding of the full range of legal procedures regarding education and child employment related prosecutions.
