Vedant is a lovely six year old autistic boy. He loves the outdoors and swimming. He is calm and needs help communicating. He is very friendly. We are looking for someone who could accompany Vedant with his activities during the weekends, join him with his meals etc.

  

He needs a little help with the toilet and he loves to go walks in the park.

  

He has a good level of understanding. It would be nice to have someone help with his speech and social skills. (There will be help available from Portage and Speech Therapist).

    

Enhanced DBS check required

  

Essential Requirements:
Must have some experience working with Autistic children before and be able to go outdoors. If this is not available, the applicant must have worked with children and be enthusiastic to spend time.
Must be able to drive.

   

Qualities looking for in a person:
Must be patient, caring and loving person who has a genuine interest in developing Vedant. Should have an understanding of Vedant’s needs and requirements.
