Customer Services are looking for flexible and adaptable people to join our pool of casual Registration, Civic & Events Officers.  The role involves registering births and deaths by appointment, administration work, working alongside event organisers and conducting and registering weddings and civil partnerships
   
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and understand issues for the customer’s perspective.
• Good IT skills (good typing skills, ability to learn new systems and use accurately).  
• Able to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Flexibility to work when the service requires (including weekend work).
   
The role is part time typically working 2-3 days weeks including regular Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.  Candidates will be utilised when the service requires, working from the Council House, Market Square and will be required to travel to licenced sites within Nottingham City boundaries with transport being provided. We are looking for candidates to be able to start as soon as possible.  Full training will be provided.
   
The rate of pay is £11.70 an hour (gross), plus a holiday entitlement of 12.07% of salary.
