Our Maintenance Assistant post is for an annualised contract, based on an average working week of 42 hours per week. Hours worked per week will be flexible and depend on our programme. The starting salary is £21,483 (Level One at 42 hours) rising to £21,921 (Level Two at 42 hours) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers). 
  
The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to work with the Maintenance Supervisor to support planned preventative maintenance, building projects and repairs for both venues. In general terms you will ensure that the site is maintained in excellent condition for all visitors, performers and staff and you will demonstrate high standards of customer care at all times. You should have a good basic knowledge of basic maintenance and of health and safety especially in regards to Legionella and asbestos management.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience of general maintenance work-
• Knowledge of basic maintenance, carpentry skills, electrical skills
• ITC/Computer Literate Experience of using various Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
