Salary:£25,485 - Pro-Rata

Location:County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE3 8RJ 


Closing date:02 February 2022 at midnight 

Salary Range: £25,485 - £27,666 (Pro-rota if part time)
To inspect and assess the Public Rights of Way network within Leicestershire and respond to customer reports regarding defects and where required. Also arrange for works and carry out enforcement if necessary. The post will also assist in the wider delivery of the service.
The post is advertised as a 0.5 post. Applicants will also be asked if they would like to work up to full time until the end of March. After that date the additional hours would be subject to review.
  • Demonstrable equivalent work experience of recreational or highways management or relevant area of other work OR degree level qualification or similar work experience of post
  • Valid driving licence and access to vehicle
  • Ability to work with customers and contractors
  • Polite, with excellent Communication skills
  • Able to work in an outdoor environment and work on your own
  • Good aptitude for IT
  • Knowledge of Rights of Way and Health and Safety procedures
  • Broad understanding of legal enforcement procedures
  • Deal with busy workloads and work to timescales and targets
