The starting salary is £38,890 (Level One) rising to £40,876 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

As the Senior Principal Data Analyst within the Data, Analysis & Insight for School Improvement (DAISI) Team you will be responsible for providing professional advice on education performance and provide challenge on performance improvement. You will also be responsible for producing high quality reporting solutions to deliver a profitable nationally traded service relating to education data analysis and training on the use of the data.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of methods for performance review, evaluation and research in the education field
• Knowledge of evaluation of performance using quantitative and qualitative evidence
• Knowledge of methods for information capture and storage to enable performance to be accurately monitored and reported dab
• Proven experience and advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools e.g. Advanced Excel, Business Objects, SQL or equivalent
• Timely and accurate production of data that delivers complex performance indicators and statutory returns
