To work as part of the Adult Social Care Finance team to complete financial assessments for people in receipt of care and support services in accordance with the Care Act 2014, the associated regulations, statutory guidance and the council's charging policy.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience of managing a caseload involving dealing with queries from the public
- Experience of working with a computerised financial and data management systems
- Knowledge of Adult Social Care policy and practice
- Ability to communicate in accurate written and spoken English
- Ability to gather and analyse information
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data security
- An understanding and commitment to applying Equal Opportunities policies
- Ability to travel to service points within Leicestershire in a cost-efficient way
- Able to obtain and maintain the required DBS check
