  • To provide efficient and effective information management and technology processes associated with statutory requirements, including assessments and monitoring, comprehensive information projects and advise on online information and data quality issues/data entry support for service areas across Children and Family Services
  • To advise clients on internal communications in accordance with national and local legislation/policies including GDPR, FOI’s etc and include maintenance and logs of such information
  • To work with and liaise confidently with a range of internal and external agencies to ensure children receive our services and gather/monitor appropriate management information, providing technical services where required. 
  • It is vital to the future of the department that the post holder is flexible in taking on additional tasks, willing to offer help to employees and treats co-operation and support for colleagues as a top priority.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of experience in literacy and numeracy
  • Trained and proficient in all aspects of the use of Microsoft Office
  • Evidence of good written and spoken English
  • Relevant experience in a data administration environment
  • Experience of working with spreadsheets and databases and web based systems 
  • Knowledge of application of spreadsheets and databases
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation 
  • Highly numerate.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages and the production of documents as required
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and keep to deadlines
  • Highly organised, methodical and meticulous regarding the application of data
  • A flexible approach to working, including out-of-hours, and an ability and willingness to travel to various locations
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, Equality and Diversity and the ability to apply this to strategic work and day-to-day situations
  • Must be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010
