School Admissions and Pupil Services is looking for an experienced Finance and Trade Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive service, for a dynamic, innovative, and self-starting individual to help elevate the service to the next level. You will report directly to and work alongside the Service Manager, and manage all matters relating to the service’s annual budget from preparing monthly returns to annual forecasts. You will also lead on our traded services portfolio that has increased significantly overall the last several years.  This will involve reviewing and developing existing contracts (both internal and external), whilst also exploring and developing new traded products via Leicestershire Traded Services.
The postholder will be responsible to ensure quality assurance, feedback to clients and will lead on organising our annual academy ‘Roadshow’. To fulfil this post you will need both excellent financial and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and a flair for developing traded services and spotting opportunities for service improvements.
