Assistant Service Manager - Children in Care

Working Hours: Part Time , Hours per week - 18.5 

Salary:£47,691 - Pro-Rata 

Appointment Type:Fixed Term 

Location:County Hall, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RF

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the chance of extension
This role is pivotal is supporting the service manager and the service to develop and attain the highest standards for our care leavers and Children in care. You will evidence drive and passion and a sound knowledge and experience of management of services for children in care and care leavers.

You need to:
  • Be ambitious for children and families Set yourself high standards 
  • Have a strong and demonstrable interpersonal and engagement style
  • Be resilient and determined
  • Have good management oversight skills  
  • Be a social work leader who is passionate about children
  • Be able to set targets for the service and achieve them  

This post is the subject of a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity
