Depot & Facilities Engineer (Grade 11 £32,979 - £35,607pa) pay award pending.
To be responsible for the efficient planning and project management of depot development work and/or safety maintenance to achieve delivery within time and cost targets.

To assist with the organisation, coordination and other arrangements of facilities management for the service

Undertake responsibilities relating to the role of tenant within LCC facilities

To undertake early contractor involvement for both internal and external schemes relating to depots as required

Develop ‘target price’ for schemes that operate under that form of contract, and / or obtain quotes in accordance with LCC procurement rules

Production of programmes, both in general terms for overall workload purposes, but also in detail to plan, monitor and control individual schemes

Planning schemes and programmes to ensure optimum utilisation of labour, plant and materials (including contingent resource and specialist sub-contractors) in order to control costs, income and waste

Production of detailed health and safety plans for individual work schemes, along with method statements and safe working practices where appropriate
