  • Key base:  Broom Leys Primary School (with the flexibility to work in other schools within the MAT as required)

  • To commence Tuesday 4th January 2022
  • Grade 5: Actual Salary £18,933 – £19,314 (£9.81 - £10.00 per hour) - pay rise pending

Core hours during term time:

¦   12.15 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. (including a 45 minute unpaid break) three days per week

¦   9.30 a.m. until 4.15 p.m. (including a 45 minute unpaid break) two days per week

¦   Hours during school holiday periods are by arrangement.

¦   Flexibility may be required for a later start and finish to the early evening core hours as lettings require.

¦   Flexibility is also required to change working days in order to provide cover (eg for annual leave) for colleagues. Advance notice will be given whenever possible. A reciprocal arrangement is in place to allow for annual leave for this postholder.

The Trustees of the Apollo Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint an Assistant Premises officer at Broom Leys Primary School, to start on 4th January 2022.

The successful candidate will join our established team who ensure the cleanliness of the school buildings, enabling the pupils to have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work or otherwise use the school facilities.  This role includes the cleaning of the dining hall - a high level of cleaning & hygiene will be required throughout.  The candidate will use floor cleaning machinery to complete the tasks – full training will be provided.

The Assistant Premises Officer postholder will work under the direction of the Site Manager and will be a key holder with some responsibility for the opening and locking up of the school.  Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
