Creative Learning Services are looking for confident workshop leaders to deliver our exciting range of sessions to pupils of all ages in schools and colleges across Leicestershire and Leicester. This could also include SEND and community groups.
  
Our sessions are varied, and we are looking for people who are interested in delivering one or more of the following.

  • Museum Learning Sessions – lively hands on learning using museum objects from our collections.
  • Art Sessions – artist led sessions linking to our artworks and museum collections.
  • Library Sessions – creative writing and performance poetry.
  
We are encouraging applications from a range of experience and backgrounds which could include teaching, museum learning, creative, artistic or performance. Please state your area of specialism on your application.
  
Most importantly, we are looking for confidence, enthusiasm, creativity and an ability to think on your feet.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in relevant qualification, or able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of a relevant subject, or demonstrable experience
  • Substantial experience of working with organised groups of school children in a variety of settings
  • Experience of producing resources for a variety of user groups
  • Knowledge of the subject to the required level
  • Understand the learning needs of different audiences
  • Knowledge and experience of developing resources and learning activities differentiated for the needs of different audiences
  • Able to recognise individual customers' learning needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised, punctual and able to work to deadlines.
