The starting salary is £25,991.00 (Level One) rising to £27,741.00 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.

You will be required to carry out proactive and reactive compliance checks in pursuance with each relevant legal requirement to promote public safety, including prosecution, preparation and attendance at court as required.
      
Provide advice, information and guidance on licensing matters to the public and other services and agencies as required face to face, by telephone and email.
        
Develop partnership working with other responsible authorities and partners.
          
Use business specific IT systems for preparing reports and maintain accurate data records
         
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A working awareness, knowledge and understanding of local authority licensing legislation, it's application and processes
An ability to deal with enforcement and compliance using tact, diplomacy and flexibility to meet the needs of the service
Worked with IT in an office/administrative environment including the use of databases and microsoft programmes
