Salary Range:  £36,711 - £40,491

The postholder will develop positive and productive relationships with members and communities and provide LCC members with support on Highways and Environment issues.

The postholder will deliver and coordinate responses to complex and potentially sensitive matters on behalf of senior management and members. They will also identify and deliver solutions for locality issues on behalf of LCC members.

The successful candidate will deliver cross department and partnership projects on behalf of the senior management team with a focus on developing positive and productive relationships with members and communities. 



  • Degree in relevant qualification or equivalent demonstrable work experience and evidence of continued learning and development.
  • Working within a policy driven environment
  • Coordination, analysis and interpretation of complex information from a number of sources
  • Preparing material, including writing technical and non-technical reports, correspondence, communications and project documentation for a variety of audiences
  • Successfully negotiating with and influencing of a range of internal and external stakeholders, particularly at a senior level.
