Location: Home working with attendance at the ESPO offices in Leicester where necessary
      
As a key member of the Marketing and Sales team you will deliver and implement the marketing plan, and effectively deliver marketing and communications that supports ESPO’s Business plan, objectives and targets. This will involve an appropriate mix of marketing activity to promote ESPO’s goods and services to defined groups of customers.
   
Main duties:
• Develop and manage digital content to defined objectives, measuring and reporting results to Digital Marketing Manager as appropriate.
• Develop and manage the marketing campaigns plans as directed by the Digital Marketing Manager in line with deadlines and budgets.
• Develop a programme of digital marketing communication activity including framework and product content marketing, social media, web events and case studies through close liaison with Procurement, Product, Marketing and Sales Teams.
• Assist in managing consistent and appropriate messaging through marketing communication activities across all channels ensuring the ESPO brand is effectively delivered with maximum impact.
• Identify areas for customer insight development and use this insight to develop marketing campaigns activities in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager
• Work closely with web and graphics to design and produce communications as part of the marketing campaigns plan. Appropriate use of communication channels to achieve maximum impact and return on investment.
• To effectively promote the brand internally and externally through all appropriate media in line with ESPO’s governance structure.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer groups, Member Authorities and other approved external partners.
• Meet specific sales targets/sales enquiries as defined in the marketing campaigns plan through comprehensive, targeted and relevant marketing activities.
• Write and shape appropriate copy for marketing campaigns, websites, press releases and other communications media
• In conjunction with others manage website and social media content as directed by Digital Marketing Manager
• Monitor progress and results of the marketing campaigns plan to agreed objectives and measure ROI.
     
Special Factors Subject to the duration of the need, the special conditions given below apply:
•The nature of the work may involve the post holder occasionally carrying out work outside of normal working hours and may require the post holder to work additional hours at certain times of the year to meet workload requirements.
•The post holder may be required to attend, from time to time, training courses, conferences, seminars or other meetings as required by his/her own training needs and the needs of the service.
•Expenses will be paid in accordance with the Local Conditions of Service.
