Key base:  Broom Leys Primary School (with the flexibility to work in other schools within the MAT as required).

To commence Monday 1st November 2021 (or as soon after as possible)

Grade 5   £18933 – £19314 (£9.81 - £10.00 per hour) pro rata - pay rise pending, Actual salary – £16227 - £16415 per annum - pending pay rise

Core hours during term time:
1.30pm to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday (including a 45 minute unpaid break) and 1.00pm to 8.00pm Friday (including a 45 minute unpaid break)


Hours during school holiday periods are by arrangement.

Lettings (up until 10.00 p.m.) are either paid as overtime or as time off in lieu.

Occasional mornings will be required to cover colleagues to allow for annual leave (a reciprocal arrangement to cover the postholder’s annual leave) so some flexibility with time is necessary.

The Trustees of the Apollo Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint am Assistant Premises officer at Broom Leys Primary School, as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will join our established team who ensure the cleanliness of the school buildings, enabling the pupils to have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work or otherwise use the school facilities.  This role includes the cleaning of the dining hall - a high level of cleaning & hygiene will be required throughout.  The candidate will use floor cleaning machinery to complete the tasks – full training will be provided.

The Assistant Premises Officer postholder will work under the direction of the Site Manager and will be a key holder with some responsibility for the opening and locking up of the school.  The successful candidate will need the flexibility to change hours of work during school holiday periods and to cover leave of absence for colleagues. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
