Technical Support Analysts (1st Line) – 1 vacancy - Grade 5 to 8 post as part of a Career Graded Scheme
Salary Range: £18,933 to £24,495 - Grade 5/8
This is a great opportunity for someone new to the ICT industry or a more experienced ICT analyst to join our well-established ICT Service Desk. The post holder will work alongside experienced IT Infrastructure and Application professionals to assist in meeting the demands of the wider IT Service, as well as ensuring that Leicestershire County Council provides an excellent Service Desk 1st line support function. We are looking for individuals with plenty of drive and energy to provide excellent customer service returning our customers to full productivity.
The advertised role is a full-time, permanent post working 37 hours per week with the occasional need to work outside of usual 9-5 business hours.
You will:
  • Come with a sound technical background and you will also be willing to learn and keep on top of new innovations in technology.
  • Know how to communicate with service users both internally and externally, I&T teams, as well as key suppliers and partners in a support environment.
  • As well as having key technical knowledge and skills you will be able to resolve simple and complex incidents and service requests.
  • Take on new challenges and work within a high-performance team to deliver high quality outcomes.
