Salary Range: £20,496 - £21,750      
 
To support the work of the Service in providing Parking Enforcement and Permit arrangements, including being first contact point for customers, taking payments, preparing MS Word and Excel reports and resolving queries effectively and accurately within legislative deadlines.
   
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • NVQ Level 3 (or NVQ 2 plus willingness to undertake Level 3) in Business and Administration or equivalent qualification plus experience as detailed below and/or demonstrable experience:
  • Experience of administration and/or financial processes.
  • Experience of working with the public, in particular dealing with irate or distressed customers by phone or in person.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft packages and/or in a wide variety of software packages, including databases.
  • Ability to produce work to a consistently high standard.
  • Communicate in a calm, tactful and logical manner with staff, public and external organisations.
  • Able to respond confidently and skilfully to difficult customers with understanding and diplomacy whilst maintaining an objective and professional stance.
