Glenfield Primary School (OFSTED rated Good) forms part of the Scholars Academy Trust, based in Leicestershire. We are a two form-entry vibrant and successful values based primary school looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to lead our school’s speech and language provision, with effect from the start of the Summer term 2022 or earlier if possible.
The successful candidate will:
  • Be an outstanding practitioner with SEN experience in the area of speech and language.
  • Be responsible for the education of all pupils within the speech and language provision.
  • Provide specialist teaching for a class of pupils who have specific speech and language difficulties.
  • Be a member of the senior leadership team, who will work proactively for the strategic direction of the school and will have the ability to lead and inspire both staff and children.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has SEN experience in the area of speech and language.
  • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Is a team player and able to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
