Salary Details : GRADE 10 (£29135 - £32725 pro rata)
Working Hours: 25 hours/week time only + Inset days and 5 days/pa in school holidays
Start date: Mid- November 2021 (Negotiable)
Hallaton C of E Primary School is a popular village school near Market Harborough with 89 pupils on roll. We have supportive colleagues and good relations with governors, parents and the wider community. The school was rated GOOD at its last OFSTED inspection in March 2017.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to take over from our current SBM who is retiring. The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience of working in a school office and have experience of budget planning and management, FSM, SIMs, HR procurement and have good interpersonal skills.
• Work closely with and assist the Headteacher with the strategic vision and leadership of all aspects of the budget, finance, health & safety and premises
• Manage our Finance(FMS) and HR (SIMS) systems, Health & Safety, Premises, Procurement, GDPR and undertake all other functions of the school office
• A willingness to train as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Educational Visits Co-ordinator
• A School Business Manager qualification (DSBM, CSBM)
• At least two years’ experience working and holding responsibility in an administrative/secretarial field
• A high level of literacy and numeracy
• Be self-motivated, proactive and adaptable
• Have excellent inter-personal skills and a sense of humour
• Be able to organise your own workload, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
