We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and customer focused swimming instructor to join our experienced team to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water for our customers. You will lead safe, effective, meaningful and interesting lessons for children of varying ages and abilities, including those with additional needs where relevant.
As a swimming instructor you will have a passion for aquatics and will thrive on supporting students to achieve their swimming potential, drawing on your knowledge and experience of industry best practice, progression levels and teaching skills that you will apply in the most effectual way. The successful applicant must have a working knowledge of aquatic health and safety, as well an understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. It is essential that you are approachable, friendly and patient, with a firm ability to build trust, encourage and motivate your students. Interested applicants should also hold, or be willing to gain the RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches, or equivalent qualification. There will also be the opportunity for holiday/sickness cover during weekday evenings and Saturdays.
