We are looking for a Public Realm Operative Level 2 to join our Streetscene and Grounds Maintenance service to provide a range of gardening, refuse, recycling and cleansing duties throughout the city in order to maintain the environment and help make Nottingham the Cleanest City. To operate flexibly across a range of frontline services, duties will include street cleansing, grounds maintenance and refuse collection.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of general cleansing and gardening techniques.
  • Ability to work as part of a flexible team, using own initiative and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to walk up to 15 miles per day and maintain a long period of physical effort and a willingness to maintain a high fitness level in line with the duties of the job
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  
This role requires you to work evenings and weekends, and you will generally be working one or more of these shifts:
  • 04:00 till 14:00
  • 14:00 till 23:59
  • 07:00 till 15:00
  • 08:00 till 16:00
