An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Strategic Property Services Team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, hands on Business Manager for the Data Management and Information Team who will lead a multi-disciplinary team with specific responsibility for the collection, management and analysis of property data to enable targeted improvement.
The ideal candidate must be able to strategically drive the service towards ISO standard and provide advice, guidance, training, and leadership to the wider property team on projects to support the overall compliance with the Council’s property strategy.
You will be responsible for management of the Property Asset Management Software systems and have an analytical focus to enable interrogation and reporting and be able to actively seek innovation and improvements to the PAMS systems ensuring the systems stay flexible to adapt to change.
You will also be responsible for the Capital and Revenue budget management of all finance requirements for the Corporate Asset Investment Fund and other Property Assets.
Essential Requirements:
  • A Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant field e.g. Quantative and analytical skills in Information Management or Land Management
  • Substantial experience at a high level in managing data collection, management analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational asset management
And experience of:
  • Managing and leading a high-performance team.
  • Operation and management of Property Asset Management software systems and their application to effective property asset management (or similar)
  • Procuring software and management of or involvement in development, implementation and utilisation or IT systems relating to the field of asset/property management
  • Working with others to define requirements for service improvement and identify improvements or changes required to support the business development
  • Budgeting and account management relating to property transactions/leases rating etc. and an understanding of service charges and debt management.
  • Developing new information and data sets for effective asset management and key performance management measures and to drive continuous improvement.
